I look up at the stars & wonder
Is that from where I fell?
Is that the place above the earth
We call heaven & this place hell
Am I the only one that questions
The world
It’s corruption, it’s morals
It’s loyalty to flesh
These battles we fail
The thoughts in our minds
That tell us we are right
& that the wrongs of the past
Are just fiction in a book
We don’t have to believe
Which is our right
That free will exist
Only in those who are truly free
But all our minds are corrupt
Because we don’t believe in
He
He who has made us
His breath in our lungs
He who said let there be light
& with his will it was done
We shy away into a world that doesn’t exist and
Demand validation from people
Who think likes and followers
Equal bliss
Am I the only in a constant battle in mind
That we are in fact living in the end times
That everything we see isn’t all that is to be seen
And the evil we run to is actually green
Look to your self and ask what is your why
Because if it’s not saving souls
Then your soul has already died
Am I the only one who has seen the unseen?
Am I the only one who doesn’t care about green?
Am I the only one who believes true love exist?
But it’s not just a hand being held or a kiss
But to sacrifice ones life
To someone unknown
To not gaining a reward
But to sit on the throne
There was a debt that was paid
On the behalf of all men
A debt that can’t be redone
Because that strength is not in men
So we shall call to the sky
& pray that he answers
So we can walk by faith
& be delivered from this cancer
Am I the only one?
